Romex consists of three individual wires – one hot, one neutral, and one ground wire – encased in a flexible protective shell.

Planning the Design



Before beginning the design process, it's important to consider the electrical needs of the structure. This includes taking into account the number of outlets needed, as well as electrical appliances such as laundry machines, stoves, and air conditioning units. Appliances should be considered based on their wattage, as some units require their own dedicated circuit to prevent overloading.
